Corpse Fiends

Corpse fiends are as frequently the macabre creations of mad scientists and magickians as they are free-forming creations arising from mass burials. Stitched together with sinew and muscle as frequently as the flesh is fused, corpse fiends regularly exchange old parts for newly acquired ones. Corpse fiends are nearly always insane, from either the amalgamation of many minds in one whole body or one mind in the monstrosity that is a corpse fiend. Although technically undead, corpse fiends rarely possess the extreme hatred for the living that other undead creatures possess (or at least only part of their schismatic minds hate the living).
